Lost grave, can anyone help? Captain Daniel M. CALDWELL, born 1827 died on July 4, 1885. Died in Beaver Lake and the body was returned to Ann Arbor area for burial. Would presume he would have been buried with an earlier wife, Lucy HALLOCK/HALLECK who died in 1875.

I am searching for information about Benjamin DAVIS (1830-?), who married in 1851 to Caroline HORTON. He was the son of William C. DAVIS (1799-1891). Benjamin DAVIS was in the Civil War, but got a medical discharge. He and Caroline apparently separated, and Caroline may have remarried. They had two children; Orpha DAVIS (1853-1903) and a son, name not known. What happened to Benjamin DAVIS after the war? Did Caroline remarry? Any information greatly appreciated.
